P. Roy, President/CEO Re: Addresses Permitted on Report of Officials. Dear Mr. Roy: This is in response to an e-mail from your Assistant Comptroller, Isabel Gomez, regarding the permissibility of a board member using home, business or post office box addresses on the credit union’s Report of Officials submitted to the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). We were unable to locate any specific agency instruction or guidance on this question. Our understanding is that NCUA’s Region II office has accepted Reports of Officials in the past with either home or business addresses, including post office box addresses. Although there is no regulatory requirement that officials provide an actual street address for the Report of Officials, we appreciate that there may be many occasions when it could be important for credit union management to be able to locate and communicate promptly with credit union officials. We think credit union officials should ensure that management is able to contact them quickly if the need arises.
