Division on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse
 
MISSION STATEMENT
The Division of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse of the Bureau for Behavioral Health and Health Facilities oversees the statewide provision of substance abuse treatment and prevention services for adults and adolescents. The Division fulfills this function primarily through contractual arrangements with the state's 13 community behavioral health centers and other agencies. The Division's other primary responsibilities as the federal government's identified single state agency for substance abuse funds are: to manage the block grant funding, identify service needs, facilitate training, and provide leadership for collaborative community efforts in the areas of both prevention and treatment.
