Star  Monitor growth and phenologyof out-planted Hibiscadelphus giffardianus populations
Star  Identify pollinators
Star  Determine impacts of rats and alien grass cover


Accomplishments:
  Monitor growth chart


Significance:
Star  Hawaii Volcanoes National Park has ca. 200 out-planted trees
Star  Mortality is low and tree growth is rapid in two mesic forests
Star  Research and monitoring will quantify effects of rats and alien grasses
