Abstract: The testimony addresses the Administration's views and advances in e-government in the previous two years. It states the passage of the E-government Act of 2002 as a success factor in strengthening the mandate for government wide IT reform and e-government and its cross-agency approach to e-government mirrors the intent to improve the delivery of services and access to information for the American people including new websites such as FirstGov.gov, Disability.gov and a website for IRS Free Filing.
