Abstract:
A letter and memorandum for Department of Energys CIOs and information technology points of contacts announcing a web site designated as the Best Security Practice (BSP) site to improve protection of information and systems throughout government for the Federal government. The operational concept for the site is to permit individual organizations to submit candidate best security practices on line and to have NSA and NIST review them prior to making them available to others through the BSP web site.
