Abstract:
Abstract: In an effort to facilitate the transition to IPv6, the Architecture and Infrastructure Committee (AIC) and the Federal Enterprise Architecture Program Management Office (FEAPMO) have developed guidance titled IPv6 Guidance: Implementing IPv6 into Agency EA Planning to assist agencies in their IPv6 efforts. This is the first in a series of five papers being developed to guide the IPv6 transition process, with subsequent guidance to cover the areas of infrastructure transition planning, governance of IPv6, budgeting and procurement, and governance of the IPv6 transition.
