CDC’s Office of Strategy and Innovation (OSI) leads efforts to develop, measure, and advance the Health Protection Goals; provides leadership and vision for formulating and evaluating policy; and fosters strategic excellence and innovation across the agency.
In addition, OSI is home to the Public Health Law Program which assists CDC programs and extramural partners to strengthen their legal preparedness for a wide spectrum of public health goals and to improve their understanding and use of law as a public health tool, and to the Office of Women’s Health, which works to promote and improve the health, safety, and quality of life for women.
