Mike Milazzo is the Deputy Chief Information Officer for Information Technology Operations at HUD. Mr. Milazzo is responsible for the management and operational oversight of the Department’s IT infrastructure operations nationwide. Mr. Milazzo began his career at HUD in 1970 as a Computer Operator and has held various leadership positions in the Office of the Chief Information Officer.

Mr. Milazzo has recently led several business transformation initiatives which leveraged information technology to improve services to the citizen, improve employee productivity and reduce costs. He also led HUD’s IT Operations organization through a challenging shift as HUD moved to a fully outsourced IT infrastructure services model.

Mr. Milazzo is a native of Washington, DC and currently lives in Ellicott City, Maryland. He has been married to his wife Delores for 36 years and they have two daughters. Mr. Milazzo is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
