Private duty home care agencies are companies that provide home care aides, companion care, homemaker services and may provide nursing services in the client's home or place of residence. Members of the NPDA employ trained caregivers and assume all responsibility for the payroll and all related taxes - this is never passed off to the customer.

NPDA Launches Advocacy Network
Responding to the need for the National Private Duty Association to increased its political involvement at both the state and federal levels, the association recently launched the NPDA Advocacy Network. The network will enable NPDA to launch a coordinated grassroots campaign to address targeted legislation of importance, creating opportunities for NPDA members to communicate most effectively with targeted legislators on priority issues.
