These files contain the schema and account descriptions for the credit union call
report program.
These files are provided so software vendors will have the information that will
allow them to interface their products with the 5300 Call Report program. The import
feature and XML file transfer standard of the new call report program allows vendors
to develop a routine to dump key data from their systems in a format that will import
into the NCUA program. This should eliminate the need for vendors to create their
own stand-alone 5300 program.
Vendors can test their import files using the Credit Union 5300
Call Report program on our website. Here is a charter number and check digit
of an inactive credit union which will allow testing without the potential for uploading
incorrect data for an active credit union.
