NCADD, in partnership with will hold the 2nd Annual "Bridge to Recovery" celebration that spans across the Brooklyn Bridge. We will begin in Brooklyn and end at City Hall Park in Manhattan!


Past These Walls - DVD: A Story of Alcohol, Drugs, Jail and Hope
70-80% of those incarcerated are there due to alcohol and drug related crimes. NCADD's Richmond Affiliate, The McShin Foundation, in cooperation with NCADD produced a powerful New DVD with Mark Lundholm.

Mark is an accomplished comedian and motivational speaker. His experience in long-term recovery and as a former inmate enables him to connect with the inmates with a powerful message of hope and help.

NCADD launched a new public education campaign with three brochures and accompanying posters. Last year alone, more than 672,000 individuals and families contacted NCADD looking for help for themselves or a family member!

Celebrate Recovery Month's 20th Anniversary


Founded in 1944 by Mrs. Marty Mann, a pioneer in the alcoholism field, the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (NCADD) provides education, information, help, and hope to the public. It advocates prevention, intervention, and treatment through a nationwide network of Affiliates. In addition, NCADD operates a toll-free Hope Line (800-NCA-CALL) for information and referral and a National Intervention Network (800-654-HOPE) to educate and assist the families and friends of addicted persons.
