Collection Overview
The Rochambeau Map Collection contains maps by Jean Baptiste Donatien de Vimeur, comte de Rochambeau who served as the Commander in Chief of the French expeditionary army during the American Revolution. Included in this collections are maps of the United States extending as far as the Mississippi River, Newfoundland and Haiti. Included in this collection is an atlas created by Rochambeau that documents some of the American forts used in the American Revolution.
