NMAC's SOAR Training Series will hold its West Coast Conference this September 16-17, in San Francisco, CA. The event will feature cutting-edge sessions focused on developing organizational sustainability, and is geared to community-based organizations (CBOs) directly and indirectly funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), State Health Departments and their funded CBOs, and key stakeholders providing HIV/AIDS services to African-Americans in the United States. read more

White House, HHS and CDC officials announced a new five-year national communication campaign, Act Against AIDS, highlighting the alarming statistic that someone is infected with HIV every 9 and half minutes in this country. It aims to combat complacency about the HIV/AIDS crisis in the United States. read more
