American Academy of Implant Dentistry
Founded in 1951, the Academy is the oldest professional organization in the world dedicated to the advancement of implant dentistry. AAID provides comprehensive dental implant education. A Florida judge has ruled that a state law restricting how dentists can advertise credentials issued by bona fide professional organizations is unconstitutional and violates the First and Fourteenth Amendments of the US Constitution. The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the first organization dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of implant dentistry, calls the verdict a victory for consumers evaluating the qualifications and experience of dentists who perform implant procedures.
