“Today marks the 100th day since the enactment of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, a sweeping economic package designed to turn our economy around—a process that is just beginning. Congress and the Obama Administration crafted it to grow the economy in both the short and long-terms with tax cuts for 95% of Americans, strategic investments in infrastructure and new energy, transportation, and healthcare technologies, and direct help for those families hit hardest by this recession.
