It’s important to know what to do during this unusual heat to make sure you, your family, friends and neighbors stay safe. Remember to drink plenty of liquids, avoid sunburn, take breaks in the shade and learn other ways to be safe on our Hot Weather Safety page.

  • American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009
    The department is overseeing stimulus funds received by the state for several areas including drinking water system construction projects and WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) nutrition programs. Learn more about these efforts.
