The Open World Leadership Center http://www.openworld.gov is looking for a Development Specialist/Consultant for a short-term contract. We are interested in raising outside funds in order to operate an alumni program in the countries of the former Soviet Union (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan with plans to expand to Armenia and possibly Belarus in 2010). The contractor would be responsible for setting up an in-house capacity to solicit funds from corporations, foundations, and private sources.
