Welcome to the Computing Integration Group home page
The Computing Integration Group is responsible for servicing Neutron Sciences (NScD) and the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences (CNMS). We are located in building 8610 (CNMS Building) on the second floor. This group is responsible for:
- Configuring Computer Systems to meet ORNL computer standards and adding any needed software
- Servicing PC’s
- Maintaining Servers
- Systems Administration of Software, including, but not limited to: SharePoint, ProjectWise, File Systems, AutoCad, ProE, etc.
- Database Administration for Oracle and SQL
- Ensuring proper security configuration of desktops and servers
- Several IT Projects
- And, most importantly, servicing the computer needs and answering questions for both visiting users and for NScD and CNMS staff.
