Developmental Milestones

Milestones

Skills such as taking a first step, smiling for the first time, and waving "bye bye" are called developmental milestones. Children reach milestones in how they play, learn, speak, behave, and move (crawling, walking, etc.).

Select the age of your child and fill out an interactive milestones checklist. It's a great way to record the milestones your child is reaching for a baby book or as a way to share your child's development with the doctor or nurse at the next checkup.
