New Collaboration Agreement
Stephen E. Straus, M.D., Director of NCCAM, is pictured below with three colleagues from the People's Republic of China who, with NCCAM, signed a Letter of Intent on International Collaboration in Complementary, Alternative, and Traditional Medicine Research. Signed on April 19, 2006, the agreement will foster research collaboration and communication between the United States and China (at levels from individual researchers to large institutions) to advance the scientific discipline of traditional medicine research.
