The Resource Connection

Welcome to the National Credit Union Administration’s (NCUA’s) “The Resource Connection” website.  This website features easy-to-access information on a variety of resources for credit unions including, useful business practices, services available through NCUA’s partner agencies and organizations, and funding and training opportunities. The information on this website will be updated periodically. There are three sections of the website – The Credit Union Connection, The Partnership Connection, and The Training Connection.

The Credit Union Connection - This section contains examples of business practices reported by credit unions located nationwide. These business practices are provided for general information purposes only and should not be substituted for competent professional advice. Before acting on any of the information contained herein, you should ensure the information is current and accurate, and the practice is legally permissible and operationally appropriate for your organizationLearn more about these business practices.

The Partnership Connection - This section links users to information on established Partners with the NCUA, including resources that they offer for credit unions such as funding opportunities.

  • Partner Profiles - A synopsis of programs, including funding opportunities, and resources offered by each Partner. The partnerships are classified according to the following categories: financial assistance, financial education, liquidity, loans, risk management, special accounts and volunteerism.
  • Funding Announcements - A listing of funding opportunities available through NCUA and its Partner organizations.
  • Presentations - This section contains webcasts or other training efforts with our partners.

The Training Connection - This section links users to NCUA training events, training offered by other governmental agencies and foundations, and presentations from past training events.
