The new LINCS Resource Collections are online subject-oriented collections of high-quality instructional resources, including multi-media resources, informed by research, especially scientifically based and other rigorous research, for use by adult education and literacy educators. The high-quality resources in the new LINCS Resource Collections are limited to items that have completed a rigorous internal and external process in which researchers and other experts in the field reviewed the resources and found them to be grounded in scientifically based and/or other rigorous research. If you are new to the field of adult basic and literacy education, a brief background document for adult literacy is available.

The LINCS Special Collections are still accessible. The Institute provided funding for this project from 2001 to 2006. The LINCS Special Collections websites are being retained for informational and reference purposes only, the sites are no longer being actively maintained.

For further information on the Collections, contact the National Institute for Literacy at info@nifl.gov
