The predominant criterion for appointment in the University Tenure Line is a major commitment to research and teaching. A successful candidate will develop an outstanding research program in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and compete successfully for extramural funding. S/he will be an able and influential teacher and highly competent clinician. The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the Medical Center Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Strong leadership and administrative skills are critical for this recruitment.
The Stanford REI/IVF Center has a strong national and international reputation for research and development in new assisted reproductive technologies and reproductive medicine, offering patients one of the nations’ most comprehensive and progressive treatment programs such as: the Fertility Preservation Program and the Third Party Reproductive Program. The Division is composed of six faculty members and performs approximately 1000 IVF cycles per year. We have an American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology approved REI fellowship program. There are numerous academic opportunities, including post-collaboration with the Institute of Regenerative Medicine at Stanford.
