The "FFIEC
InfoBase" concept was developed by the Task Force on Examiner Education
to provide field examiners in financial institution regulatory agencies
with a quick source of introductory training and basic information.
The long-term goal of the InfoBase is to provide just-in-time training
for new regulations and for other
topics of specific concern to examiners in FFIEC's five member
agencies the:

allows access to all resources associated with individual FFIEC
IT Examination Booklets. |

a list of resources related to the booklet topics. Many of the listed

page provides access to audio and printed versions of presentations,
one general presentation on the IT Handbook revision process and
an introductory presentation on each IT Examination Booklet. |

Requirements |

To
use the InfoBase, you need three applications: |

A
browser application to view InfoBase HTML pages - Any version number
of Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator above version 4 may
work, but full function of the InfoBase is assured with Internet
Explorer 7.0 or higher. |

Acrobat
Reader 7.0 or higher is recommended to read and/or print the
IT Examination Booklets and the InfoBase resource documents. |
|
Flash
Player 8.0 or higher is needed to view and hear the InfoBase
presentations - Note that your current browser version may include
Flash Player even though the application is not listed in your system's
application menu. The Flash plug-in is part of more recent versions
of both Internet Explorer and Netscape Communicator. There are also
printable versions of the presentations available. |

Trouble Shooting: Because of the diversity of hardware
and software throughout the five regulatory agencies and the industry
at large, it is possible that some combinations of workstations,
operating systems, software, and networks will not effectively
play the Flash Presentations in this InfoBase. If your encounter
technical problems, contact your systems administrator. |
