387.1 Administrative History

Established: In the Department of the Interior, effective September 1, 1943, by Secretarial Order 1865, August 31, 1943, pursuant to EO 9366, July 30, 1943, and EO 9373, August 30, 1943.

Transfers: To Department of Energy, effective October 1, 1977, by the Department of Energy Organization Act (91 Stat. 578), August 4, 1977.

Functions: Sells and distributes hydroelectric power generated at federal reservoir projects in AR, KS, LA, MO, OK, and TX.

Finding Aids: Preliminary inventory in National Archives microfiche edition of preliminary inventories.
