Hi Everyone,

Just a reminder here that we have through Monday with our guests to
finish up the formal discussion. Of course, as always, we can continue
talking about photonovellas further as we like!

Below are some questions that list members sent in before the
discussion, that we have not fully explored yet... Please feel free to
comment on them or other ideas that have not come up.

All the best,
Julie

When one develops a photonovella, what are the pieces that the resource
developer should have in mind?

Where are the best places to find illustrators? do they recommend going
to art schools or going to professionals?

What limits do the guest speakers recommend as to the amount of text
(number of words) 1) per frame, 2) per strip or page? What is the
basis for
their recommendation?

The camera lens sees all - even things that distract from the message.
What guidelines or procedures do the speakers suggest to reduce these?

Can you share any experiences in using photonovellas with people who
have learning disabilities or intellectual disabilities?

What do you think of the idea of creating photnovellas from perspective
of the person - in other words, taking the photos as they would see
themselves performing the task? (similar to video self-modeling)?

Have you been able to show increased comprehension by using a
photonovella as compared to a comic book or illustrated document?

Any thoughts on the impact of comprehension if the photo novella
concept was "in motion" (i.e., a dvd or podcast)?

Any experience in creating a teaching tool - cueing system - from the
photonovella concept? If so, what did you learn from that?
