Interesting article about Women and Doctors.

5 mistakes women make at the doctor's office

* Story Highlights

* Speak up in your doctor's office, experts urge

* If you tend to freeze up, take along a friend who can ask questions for you

* Internet research is fine, but don't overwhelm your doctor with printouts

David, the title is 'Patient Power...is it good for nurses?'

Thanks
Nicola

Can you provide a title or other way of finding the document?

Thanks

Another interesting article came my way this morning. >From the Nursing Times from the UK.

I don't have the title page (someone just photocopied the actual article for me)

NT 1 April 2008 Vol 104 No 13 pages 15 and 16 (title is on page 14) www.nursingtimes.net

this article discusses the increase in patient empowerment philosophy in the UK, and how the expectation that patients are more empowered through the internet fails newcomers to the country who do not have the background of the NHS, socialised medicine, or internet savvy.

Interesting article on Medscape (which requires a free log in). Now we have a fancy new name for an old idea....
