Dear Everyone,
 
I think the most appropriate novels which can be used by ESL students are works which were also written by authors whose first language is not English, albeit over restrictions should never be considered because there are some works which could be easily absorbed by ESL students. The Face of Another by Kobo Abe is a good choice.
