Modals are special verbs which behave very irregularly in English. If you "google" modals, you will have more information about modals than you need!

Try the Internet TESL Journal’s Conversation Questions for the ESL/EFL Classroom, at
http://iteslj.org/questions/
Pick questions that have modals in them – or that could be answered with modals – and make conversation cards for students to use in pairs or small groups.
Enjoy!
