Lisa -
No, but our Health Literacy program had developed a workshop called "Business of Health" that is presented to students at least once a semester. It talks about insurance, medicines, forms, pharmacies, self-education and advocacy and living wills. I like the name "Patient School" - can we swipe it??? ;-)

Please contact off-list if this is something useful.

Does anyone know of any other hospitals or health care systems that are offering "Patient Schools" where they teach patients what they need to navigate the medical system and advocate for themselves and family members?

Thanks,
