Abstract:

This document will serve as the user's guide to the HDF-EOS file access library. HDF refers to the scientific data format standard selected by NASA as the baseline standard for EOS, and HDF-EOS refers to EOS conventions for using HDF. This document will provide information on the use of the three interfaces included in HDF-EOS - Point, Swath, and Grid - including overviews of the interfaces, and code examples. This document should be suitable for use by data producers and data users alike. (kpr)
