OMAHA, Neb. -- Ensuring the highest level of employee safety and health during the construction of a 220-megawatt, coal-fired power plant near Hastings, Neb., is the goal of a new joint partnership between the Nebraska Public Power Generation Agency (PPGA), Black & Veatch Corp. of Overland Park, Kan., and the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) area office in Omaha. # # # U.S. Department of Labor releases are accessible on the Internet at www.dol.gov.
