The Strategic Compensation Policy Center has been charged with creating a flexible, competitive, and performance-oriented compensation environment that allows the Federal government to recruit and manage employees in the face of future challenges. The Center is researching current practices and innovations in pay, benefits, and other forms of compensation in the Federal government, state and local governments, the private sector and in foreign governments. The Center is working with all the interested parties to ensure everyone's views and concerns are represented.
