Short-term Fundraising Contract
The Open World Leadership Centerhttp://www.openworld.gov is looking for a Development Specialist/Consultant for a short-term contract. We are interested in raising outside funds in order to operate an alumni program in the countries of the former Soviet Union (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan with plans to expand to Armenia and possibly Belarus in 2010). The contractor would be responsible for setting up an in-house capacity to solicit funds from corporations, foundations, and private sources.

Public Affairs Specialist
The Public Affairs Specialist develops and disseminates informational material to OWLC stakeholders (hosts, grantees, members of Congress, the Board of Trustees), foreign embassies in the U.S. and U.S. embassies abroad, domestic and foreign media, volunteer organizations, and production services for special media materials, professional and business communities, and to the general public concerning OWLC activities.
