Mission Statement The Association for Research of Childhood Cancer, Inc. raises funds to support basic science research and clinical
investigation which have breakthrough potential for a cure for childhood cancer: the No. 1 disease killer of children. AROCC is a voluntary, not-for-profit, organization founded by
parents who lost children to various pediatric cancers. Since 1971 the Association has provided more than 2.5 million dollars to the major pediatric research centers of Western New York.
AROCC volunteers include parents of childhood cancer survivors, medical professionals, community and business leaders and many others who contribute their time, talent and efforts in the
fight against childhood cancer, so that one day...today's children will have a tomorrow and tomorrow's children will have a future.
