OSHA schedules meeting of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health

WASHINGTON -- The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will hold a meeting of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (NACOSH) July 15, 2009, to discuss topics including the agency's recordkeeping initiative and ethics rules.

The meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Room N-3437 A/B/C, U.S. Department of Labor, Frances Perkins Building, 200 Constitution Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20210.

The tentative agenda also includes a presentation on the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act panel report on occupational exposure to diacetyl and food flavorings containing diacetyl. Updates on OSHA and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health activities will also be presented. Notice of the NACOSH meeting appears in the June 22, 2009, Federal Register.

If submitting by mail, hand delivery or courier service, include three copies of submissions to the OSHA Docket Office, Room N-2625, U.S. Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20210; telephone 202-693-2350. Submissions that do not exceed 10 pages will be accepted via facsimile in the OSHA Docket Office at 202-693-1648. Please reference Docket No. OSHA-2009-0012 and the agency name on all submissions.
