Trade Release Stimulus package tops agenda for OSHA's Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health meeting WASHINGTON -- The effect of the federal economic stimulus package on the construction industry will be the main topic discussed at a meeting of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH), April 14-17, 2009 in Washington, D.C.
The committee advises the Assistant Secretary of Labor for OSHA on creating standards affecting the construction industry and on policy matters arising in the administration of the safety and health provisions of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and the OSH Act of 1970.
