LIVE WEBCAST OF
Woman's Heart Day

On Friday, February 23 from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) will present a LIVE WEBCAST of the opening ceremony and the panel discussions of Woman's Heart Day, a health fair event in Washington D.C. featuring heart specialists, national celebrities, athletes, and leading government officials. 

The event is being organized by Sister to Sister-Everyone Has A Heart , a collaboration of local organizations, which has identified cardiovascular disease as a preventable, major health problem for women of all ages.  NHLBI has joined Sister to Sister as a partner for this event.   The health fair will be held at the MCI Center in Washington, D.C., and is open to the public. 

If you are unable to attend Woman's Heart Day, the opening ceremony and the panel discussions will be WEBCAST live by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.

    Chaired by Margo Wootan, Center for Science in the Public Interest.
