Discussion Announcement

Lilian H. Hill will discuss her article in the recent issue of Focus on Basics about visuals in health information. We will discuss why it is that visuals are so effective with low literate populations, and review the pros and cons of different types of visuals, as described in the article. We will relate this to our recent (11/17) discussion on photonovellas.


Guest Biography

Lilian H. Hill is Assistant Professor of Adult Education at the University of Southern Mississippi. Her areas of interest include continuing professional education and professional practice, environmental adult education, and health literacy education.
