Participant Requirements

Check that your personal computer can connect to Adobe Connect in advance of a session. This will give you time to address any problems. This will determine whether connection speed is sufficient, network access is allowed, flash player is installed, etc. If the diagnostic reveals that Flash needs to be updated or installed, that can be done here.

Firewall Settings

If there are remaining issues, IS depts can check that port 443 and 1935 are open on their firewalls. These are required by Connect.

For more information, firewall administrators can see this article by Adobe.
