SciBX: Science-Business eXchange is a weekly publication, from Nature Publishing Group, that provides a concise analysis of the scientific content and commercial potential of the most important translational research papers from the life science, biotechnology, and chemistry literature. Nature Chemistry: Volume 1, Issue 1 Available through the NIH Library
Published by Nature Publishing Group, Nature Chemistry is a new monthly journal of primary research, review articles, and news. Nature Chemistry provides several innovative features to support its focus on the research article: compound structures submitted by authors are redrawn to be machine-readable; pop-up images of chemical structures appear in articles and link to enhanced compound pages; and the compound pages include Chemdraw files, 3-D structures, elemental analysis, links to external resources, and additional information.

The NIH Library Goes Green
On April 21 the NIH Library Green Terrace opened. An extension of the newly redesigned NIH Library, the Green Terrace serves as an outdoor garden oasis for NIH staff and visitors and features a perennial garden with medicinal plants, solar panels to power terrace lighting and irrigation pumps, and a cistern for storm water management.

New Access for the Journal Stem Cells
Access to the journal Stem Cells has moved from AlphaMed Press to Wiley Interscience, and bookmarks set before the move no longer work. To ensure continued on-campus and remote access to Stem Cells: 1) Go to the NIH Library Online Journals webpage; 2) Click "S" to view the list of journals beginning with that letter, and 3) Click the entry for "Stem Cells."

Missed "Google for Researchers" on March 17? Watch the VideoCast
On March 17, Galen Panger, a representative of Google for Non-Profits, spoke on the topic of "Google for Researchers." Panger addressed an audience of about 400 attendees seated in Lipsett Amphitheater, Masur Auditorium, and the NIH Library Training Room. To view the video of the event, go to NIH VideoCasting and Podcasting and click Past Events. "Google for Researchers" appears under the categories "Special" and "Most Recent VideoCasts."
