Review of Medicaid Credit Balances at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas as of December 31, 2008

Executive Summary

As of December 31, 2008, Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas' Medicaid credit balances included immaterial overpayments that had not been returned to the Medicaid program. As a result of our review, the hospital returned the overpayments to the California Department of Health Care Services as of February 13, 2009.
