Review of High-Dollar Payments for Medicare Outpatient Claims Processed by TrailBlazer Health Enterprises for the Period January 1 through December 31, 2004

Executive Summary

Of the 17 payments of $50,000 or more that TrailBlazer Health Enterprises, LLC, made to providers for outpatient services during calendar year 2004, five were appropriate. TrailBlazer overpaid providers for 12 claims, resulting in overpayments totaling $1.1 million.
