Payments for Epogen Administered at Fresenius Medical Care - Anacostia, District of Columbia

Executive Summary

Between January 1, 2004, and June 30, 2006, Fresenius Medical Care-Anacostia (Anacostia)did not meet Medicare payment requirements for some dates of service for 24 of the 100 claims reviewed and received an overpayment of approximately $1,400. Also, Anacostia policies and procedures were not always followed.
