EnergyShape

Provides online access to an extensive load data library and enables visualization, manipulation, and analysis of the load shapes. Commercial, industrial, and residential prototype and sample load shapes are based on whole-site and end-use metered data from CEED, GTI, and Primen. Users can easily load utility-specific databases. Input

Users browse the load data library by filtering on a set of attributes that match their needs. Attributes include region, customer segment, end use, heating fuel, size, etc.

Output

Users can view hourly or daily load data for the selected day(s), weeks(s), or month(s); display different kinds of graphics and color schemes; access descriptive information about the loads; aggregate or average load data (with or without weights); calibrate load data to bills; and shift loads from one year to another. Users can export results into CSV or Lodestar format.

Strengths

Users can visualize, manipulate, and analyze energy load and draw from an extensive library of load shapes.

Weaknesses

The software is not an energy simulation tool, however users can import simulated load data from Primen's EnergySim tool.
