Kirk-Othmer Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology: Now Online

From a 123-page article on cardiovascular agents to 19 entries that mention ZSM-5 additives, the Kirk-Othmer Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology provides a wealth of information on the properties, manufacturing, and uses of chemical substances. Kirk-Othmer also covers chemical engineering industrial processes and environmental and health issues related to chemical technology.

The NIH Library is pleased to announce online access to the Kirk-Othmer Encyclopedia. To connect, go to the 'Research Tools' drop-down menu at the top of this webpage. Select 'Databases', then select 'Kirk-Othmer Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology'.

With more than 1,000 articles, monthly updates, and archived originals of revised articles, Kirk-Othmer provides access to current information in the field and older material of interest.
