Find the BBA (Biochimica et Biophysica Acta) Sections You Need

Biochimica et Biophysica Acta can be a tricky journal to navigate. To make it easier to identify the section you need (Bioenergetics, Biomembranes, Gene Structure and Expression, Molecular Cell Research, Protein and Proteomics, Reviews on Cancer, and so on), the NIH Library recently added a link to the Biochimica et Biophysica Acta Decoder Chart.

A service of the California Digital Library, the Decoder Chart lists the BBA section for each volume number, from 1962 to the present.

To use the Decoder Chart to identify a section, go to the NIH Library Online Journals webpage and find Biochimica et Biophysica Acta in the list. When you see the phrase, "If you know the BBA volume but not the section, click here," follow the link.

The following page with volume numbers, years, and section numbers will display:

California Digital Library: Biochimica et Biophysica Acta, Decoder Chart for ScienceDirect

If you have questions about Biochimica et Biophysica Acta, the Decoder Chart, or the more than 8,400 online journals available through the NIH Library, email nihlibrary@nih.gov or call Reference & Information Services at 301-496-1080.
