What are the Library's photocopying policies?

For NIH Staff

The Library maintains free self-service copiers for NIH staff to copy Library materials only.

The Self-Service Photocopy Room is located on the lower level of the Library in Bldg 10. Stop at the Information Desk on the first floor to obtain an access card that will permit use of the copiers. You will be asked to leave your NIH ID badge at the Information Desk until you return the access card.

There is a limit of 5 minutes per person for each visit if others are waiting.

Service hours are the same as the general Library hours:

Monday-Thursday, 7:45 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday and some holidays, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Horizontal Rule

For General Public

No photocopying facilities are available for the general public. The National Library of Medicine (NLM) has facilities available for public use.
