Please do not remove acess to SSN's I am a Private Investigator (Insurance Subrogation) I need to have acess to the social security numbers for locate and employment verification purposes. Without this there is no way to verify that we have located the correct individual. therefore we will not be able to make service of process, garnish wages etc.. I have been a private investigator for over 30 years. I do agree that there should be some control of ssn's. However , please make sure that the Private investigation industry does not lose acess.
