It is imperative that Private Investigators be provided access to social security numbers to effectively perform their investigative duties. Legitmate, licensed private investigators should not be handicapped by being denied the benefit of thier essential investigatve tools. Access to social security numbers are as necessary as a carpenter's hammer in the performance of his or her duties.
